    We provide both full-service production (from pre-production planning to final delivery) as well as a la carte services like filming, editing, and motion graphics.

    • Highlight Reel / Teaser Video: Delivered within 1–2 weeks after the event.

    • Full Edited Video: Delivered within 1–8 weeks after the event.

    Factors That May Affect Timing:

    • Event complexity and amount of footage

    • Seasonal demand and client revisions

    Rush Orders:

    • 2-week delivery: Additional $500

    • 1-week delivery: Additional $1,000

    Delivery:

    Your video will be delivered via digital download or USB drive.

    We ensure a thoughtful, detailed edit and will keep you updated throughout the process.

 

Payment & Terms

    • Event Reservation: Please note that your session will not be considered reserved without a 50% deposit. If the deposit is not received, the pending date will become accessible to be reassigned to another client.

    • Acknowledgment of Terms: By submitting payment for your invoice, you confirm that you have reviewed, understood, and accepted the terms outlined in this agreement.

    • Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at booking to secure your date.

    • Balance Due: The remaining 50% is due 24 hours prior to the event date.

    • Final Delivery: The final edited video will be delivered within 1–8 weeks of the event date.

    • Within Beaumont (30-mile radius): No travel fee

    • Outside Beaumont (30–60 miles): $100

    • Beyond 60 miles: Custom quote based on distance and time commitment.

  • 1. Videographer Arrival Time:

    • Our team will arrive at the event location at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for setup and preparation.

    • In the event that we experience an unavoidable delay (e.g., traffic, equipment malfunction), we will inform you immediately and make every effort to arrive as quickly as possible.

    2. Client or Event Delays:

    • If the event runs significantly behind schedule (e.g., the ceremony or reception is delayed beyond the agreed-upon time), we may need to adjust our coverage and timing accordingly.

    • We will continue filming until the agreed-upon time in your contract, but any time beyond that will be subject to additional hourly charges.

    3. Additional Hourly Charges:

    • $150 per hour will be charged if the event starts later than scheduled or runs longer than the contracted hours.

    • Charges will be applied in 15-minute increments. The additional fee will be billed directly after the event.

    4. Late Start Impact on Final Delivery:

    • A late start may impact the delivery timeline of your final edited video, especially if it affects the amount of time we have to capture important moments. While we will do our best to work with the timeline, the final video delivery may be extended by up to 2 weeks if there were significant delays during the event.

    5. Communication:

    • If there is a delay on your end (for example, a late start or a schedule change), we ask that you notify us as soon as possible to help us plan accordingly and adjust our coverage to meet your needs.

  • LaRu Agency: Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

    At LaRu Agency, we understand that life events and plans may change, and sometimes cancellations or rescheduling are unavoidable. To ensure fairness and clarity for both parties, we have outlined our cancellation and rescheduling policy below.

    1. Cancellations:

    • Cancellations 30 days or more before the event date:

      • If the event is canceled more than 30 days before the scheduled event date, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

      • Any payments made beyond the deposit (e.g., additional services) will be refunded in full.

    • Cancellations 15–30 days before the event date:

      • If the event is canceled between 15 and 30 days before the scheduled event, 50% of the total booking fee will be charged.

      • The remaining balance, including any additional services, will be refunded.

    • Cancellations less than 15 days before the event date:

      • If the event is canceled within 15 days of the scheduled event date, the full amount of the booking is non-refundable.

      • Any payments made will be retained to cover the lost booking.

    2. Rescheduling:

    We understand that plans may change, and we are happy to work with you to reschedule your event. The following applies:

    • Rescheduling more than 30 days before the event date:

      • If you need to reschedule your event more than 30 days before the scheduled date, we will do our best to accommodate the new date, and no rescheduling fee will apply. However, any price differences between the original event date and the rescheduled date (e.g., seasonal price changes or availability) will be applied.

      • If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the deposit will be retained as compensation for the loss of business.

    • Rescheduling 15–30 days before the event date:

      • If the event is rescheduled between 15 and 30 days before the original date, a $250 rescheduling fee will apply. The rescheduled date must be within 6 months of the original event date.

      • If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the deposit is non-refundable.

    • Rescheduling less than 15 days before the event date:

      • If the event is rescheduled less than 15 days before the scheduled date, the full balance of the booking will be due, and a $500 rescheduling fee will be charged.

      • If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the deposit is non-refundable, and the client will be responsible for the full payment of the original booking.

    3. Weather-Related Cancellations:

    • Outdoor events: In the case of inclement weather or conditions that affect outdoor events, rescheduling may be an option without penalty if we are informed at least 48 hours before the event. We will try our best to reschedule within a reasonable time frame.

    • If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund (minus the deposit) will be offered for outdoor events that cannot proceed due to weather.

    4. No-Show Policy:

    • If the client is unable to attend the event and does not notify us in advance, no refund will be provided.

    • If the event is a “no-show” on our part due to an emergency or situation outside of our control (e.g., equipment failure, transportation issues), we will provide a full refund or offer to reschedule at no additional cost, depending on availability.

    5. Special Circumstances:

    • In cases of extreme emergency (such as a family emergency, medical condition, or natural disaster), we will do our best to be flexible. Please communicate any such situations as soon as possible, and we will work with you on an individualized basis.

 

Copyright & Usage Rights

    • Ownership: LaRu Agency retains the copyright to all raw footage and final edited materials produced. The client is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the final video for agreed-upon purposes.

    • Licensing: Any music, stock footage captured by LaRu Agency, or third-party assets used in the video production are licensed for the client’s specific use. Any additional licensing required for broader use (e.g., national television distribution) may incur additional costs.

    • Promotional Use: LaRu Agency reserves the right to use clips from the video for promotional purposes, including social media, portfolio use, and advertising, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

    • Equipment: LaRu Agency uses professional-grade video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound equipment. All equipment is maintained to the highest standards to ensure quality.

    • Safety: LaRu Agency prioritizes safety during production. Clients must inform us of any hazards at the location, and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure the safety of all participants during the shoot.

    • Equipment Loss or Damage: Clients are responsible for the loss or damage of any rented equipment or property caused by their actions or negligence.
